Shabby Chic Halloween? Why not?!

Why not? This is how usually my projects start 😁
I find the idea of Halloween is pretty cool but I don't like the dark colors. And here is idea begins!

Look at her! Is she enough shabby?

Have you ever thought that shabby chic witches exist?

I think, she's a looker! And what about her fashionable shoes?

And she has this sweetest kitty!

And besides, she let me take a selfie with her! I'm so exited!

Shabby Pumpkin

Could you guess what this pumpkin is made of?
I used the ordinary toilet paper rolls to create it!

That is what I usually call "from trash to treasure" project!
Objects that no longer work for their intended purpose can often be used for another.
Just paint two toilet paper rolls inside and outside with a white acrylic paint, cut them into even pieces and tie them together using a jute rope!

Use it as a home decoration or a gift to amaze your friens and family members.

Peace out everyone! With Love, Vera.

Romantic Notions

Using a knack for finding new uses for ordinary objects I imbue my home with shabby chic character.

Using old book pages for the rosette, paper doily and handmade fabric flower, I made these simple but very shabby ornaments.

I spend so much time to make my crafting space more shabby looking and transform it into a place with oodles of charm...

In case if you would like to create these rosettes but don't know how, I bring to your attention this tutorial

New Antique Envelopes

What to do in the absence of a flea market?
Just create the the piece of antique by yourself!

I used coffee dyed paper and some suitable stamps to create these absolutely antique envelopes.

Proof to me once again that making the things by hands is worth it!

Peace out everyone! With Love, Vera.

A Touch of Shabby Glamor

Perfume bottles are always a perfect choice to start the shabby chic decoration with! Even if they are brand new ones, they often have an antique shape, so you may only to add a little bit to give them absolutely shabby look.

If you have some tassels and a bit of lace it will take very little time to turn them out to the nicely detailed addition to any place setting.

The subtle alteration gives the objects a new life!

Peace out everyone! With Love, Vera.
